Our Rooms

Our Hourly Rooms are equipped with dream like equipment to satisfy the most sophisticated of player, with a client list of elite musicians to prove it.

All of our Rooms come standard with a 5 piece drum kit, bass amplifier, 2 guitar amps, P.A., and Vocal Microphones.

STUDIO (1)

This is our Premier Room. Serving the double purpose of elite rehearsing and a live room for recordings. It is acoustically treated with asymmetrical walls, absorbers and diffusers, hardwood floor and a tile blend on a fully floating floor. It has 16 foot height clearance, and a PA designed to carve out the perfect sound according to your specific needs with 4 strips of DBX 1231 Graphic Eq, Allen & Heath Mixwizard Board, Lexicon unit and 4 Active Monitors.

Rehearsing or Recording in this room is comparable to playing in Studio A of the most renowned Recording Studios of the world.

STUDIO (4)

This is our second most elite room. Offering the sound response of Studio (1), but in a smaller size. Studio (4) has the added bonus of a private bathroom.




SUDIO (2) and (3)

These are our medium sized carpeted rooms geared for the daily rehearsal, still offering all the outstanding equipment and frequency response common to our main Studios.




LOUNGE AND KITCHENETTE:

A place to relax, and take a break from the rehearsal. The Lounge is located by our main entrance. It is equipped with ample, comfortable seating, beverage and snack machines, a selection of magazines and a TV/DVD player and Play Station. In the Kitchenette we provide a microwave and cutlery to accommodate any snack time needs. We also offer complimentary Coffee and Tea.




CONTROL ROOM:

Recently, we enlarged one of our monthly rooms, rebuilt and transformed it into a functional recording and mixing room. There is a tie line to Studio A, transforming it into a fully soundproof and highly functional Live Room.

With extensive Outboard gear and powerful processing, all recording, overdubbing and mixing takes place in our control room at Decibel House. In it’s recent inception, Artists who have worked, or projects that were completed, in this room include Tegan and Sara, Billy Talent, Leahy, The Johnstones, Stuck On Planet Earth and The Black Rainbows.
